LYNK & CO ACCELERATES EUROPEAN GROWTH WITH EXPANSION INTO CZECH REPUBLIC, AUSTRIA, AND SWITZERLAND

Lynk & Co is accelerating its growth in Europe with the official entry into three new markets: Czech Republic, Austria, and Switzerland. This strategic move strengthens the brand’s presence in Central Europe and makes Lynk & Co’s unique cars accessible to more consumers across the continent.

As part of Lynk & Co’s broader European expansion, the rollout in Czech Republic, Austria, and Switzerland marks a major step toward expanding the brand’s European footprint. With rollouts already progressing across its seven core markets, the addition of these countries ensures greater visibility, accessibility, and growth potential.

As part of its European market expansion program, Lynk & Co is leveraging its collaboration with Volvo Cars to accelerate entry and ensure a smooth rollout in new territories. By building on Volvo’s strong market relationships, proven retail network, and operational expertise, Lynk & Co benefits from shared infrastructure, such as spare parts distribution, and joint preparation efforts – laying the foundation for long-term success in local markets.

All three models – the new Lynk & Co 01, the fully electric Lynk & Co 02, and the Lynk & Co 08 plug-in hybrid – will be available across the three markets exclusively through retail partners. This expansion will add over 15 new sales points across Europe, ensuring strong local launch platforms and seamless customer access.

Projected impact

The brand’s partnerships with experienced retail partners will accelerate market entry and build immediate trust with consumers.

Each of the three new markets brings strategic value. The Czech Republic, with its central location and established retail infrastructure, offers direct access to a broad customer base and a strong cultural fit with Lynk & Co’s values. Austria, positioned at the heart of Central Europe, is seeing rising demand for electrified vehicles, making it a natural fit for Lynk & Co’s expanding line-up. Switzerland, with its high purchasing power, favourable tax environment for EVs, and mountainous terrain, provides ideal conditions for Lynk & Co’s electrified models.

Commercial kick-off

Consumer-facing commercial activities are set to begin in October 2025 in the Czech Republic, with Lynk & Co opening its own National Sales Company (NSC) and Cardion Cars joining as the first retail partner. In Austria and Switzerland, activities will follow in first quarter of 2026, marking the official launch of Lynk & Co in these markets.

Expanding into Czech Republic, Austria, and Switzerland is a bold next step for Lynk & Co as we strengthen our European presence. These are strategically important markets with established retail networks that allow us to bring our cars to customers quickly and effectively. By working closely with trusted partners, we can ensure that local customers experience Lynk & Co with the same bold, customer-first approach that defines our brand.  Keith Schäfer, VP of Commercial Operations at Lynk & Co International.

Looking ahead

With these launches, Lynk & Co is now present in 25 European markets, reinforcing its ambition to grow into a truly pan-European brand. This expansion underscores the brand’s strategy to combine product innovation with strategic retail partnerships, offering more customers the access Lynk & Co’s vehicles.
